Spain Week 2

Hello All...yes the end of week 2!   I can hardly believe it myself!!  Every day has been full of activity--during the week, I am up early, and out to the park to practice kung fu.  Then, I walk as much as I can to prepare for the big hike.  It is going to be a challenge for sure!!  Yesterday, I met with a representative from the company, and I was a little overwhelmed with what lays before me.  I will be doing the hike on my own, with maps!!  Hopefully the weather gets better!!

The  weather here is cold, and unusual, they say--I have quite a bad cold now, even though I am taking some medicine--because it is cold in the house--no central heating--they do have a fire place, but they seldom use it!  Last night was the worst--I am starting to feel better, but my nose is running and I am hacking away

Yesterday was great--I got to go to the Flamingo show down in the heart of Malaga, among the old town--wow--it was great.  The show was in a 500 year old Spanish House.  The actual show was on the second floor--a singer, guitarist, 3 lady dancers, a child dancer and  male dancer--they were all fantastic.

Earlier in the week, Havi took me to the beach in Torremolinas, it is amazing--10 miles of white sand, beach bars and hotels!!

This was the conclusion of the fabulous Flamingo show--this sweet little girl came out did a couple of twirls!

I found this neat bar, just around the corner from where the show was.  Dinner was anchovies and tomato--quite good!!

The show took place in this ancient Spanish building--it was a great setting.

Earlier in the week, Havi took me to walk along the beach walk--this is the center of the city.

Sand castle building is going on here-- a lot of rain, however, is washing it all away.

A familiar site along the beach, bb'que--they do the sardines up--a very popular dish.

This is a park near where I am living--all so beautifu and grass is very soft--great for doing my kung fu.

The location in the center of the city for the Spanish dancing.
This was Saturday afternoon, visiting Rocio'a parents country place.  The man standing next to her is her brother, and he lives in the Spanish settlement in North Africa--Meille.  I am going to visit Tangiers soon!  It is very close.
The paella was FANTASTIC!
